Firstly, I've gotta hand it to you on the color and the lighting. Here, it almost looks like they are both reflecting from his back feathers, illuminating the overall image. The background blurring was also a good choice. The posing is excellent; it looks as if he is about to take off after prey!

There are only two major gripes from me. Firstly, I feel the image is a tad under-exposed. In some areas, it seems a little too dark. If you brought up the exposure just a little, I feel there would be a lot more highlight in the bird's eye, and the image would shine overall. Secondly, there seems to be a bit of blurring on the subject. Whether it's out of focus or the camera/bird was moving, I feel it detracts from the image a bit.

Overall, a very neat composition, especially since these moments are very difficult to capture perfectly! Keep it up!
